Swiss-based Merchants

Swiss-based merchants can select from two available payment models:

  1. Paying Agent Model: Ammer Capital AG acts as the paying agent for the Customer (as described in section EU-based Merchants).
  2. Debt Collection (Inkasso) Model: Detailed below

Description of Roles in Payment Process

Merchant maintains direct contractual relationship with Ammer Capital AG and uses Merchant Hub to monitor blockchain transfers of digital assets from the Customer into a non-custodial wallet fully under control of the Customer.

Ammer Capital AG collects digital assets received by the Merchant for debt settlement and converts them to CHF (or EUR) on behalf of the Merchant.

Customer views crypto currency exchange rates provided by Ammer Capital AG and receives information about required digital asset amounts for transfer to Merchant and collection by Ammer Capital on Merchant’s behalf.

Note: No direct relationship exists between Ammer Capital AG and the Customer in this model.

Customer Onboarding Requirements:

  • All Customers must complete onboarding through Ammer Wallet (please refer to Ammer Wallet for Customers section for more details)

  • While Customers are not obliged to undergo KYC verification since their primary business relationship is with the Merchant, Ammer Capital AG maintains the right to request KYC verification from any Customer when deemed necessary for business operations.
